Hire, Lunch & Pub - Great Few Hours!

We couldn’t recommend The Cycle Hive enough !! We rented 2 bikes and a kids tow along, all in perfect condition, so reasonably priced and cycled a 14 mile round trip with lunch and the pub! We had a great few hours. We thought our 4 year old would tire quickly but he had the best time. We asked for some advice on a bike size for our son and he was more than happy to help and chat with us.

Unforgettable Biking Experience

We actually went to the wrong cycle hire place after booking 4 bikes on the phone the previous day and paying a £10 deposit. When we arrived and told the guy that we had phoned and booked bikes he told us that it must have been another company as he doesn’t take deposits and does all of his business by email. Luckily he was able to sort us out with 4 perfectly serviced and maintained bikes which he set to the right height for each of us. He showed us a map and explained roughly how long each section should take us. Bikes came with a tool kit, puncture repair kit and bike lock as well as safety helmet. Excellent business.

The Best Bike Rental!

We had such a brilliant day out thanks to The Cycle Hive, it was pouring it down with rain but I'm so glad we didn't cancel. The bikes were so comfortable, set up beautifully and we had such a good send off. My little girl has never cycled that far and as she came back in, she said she was so happy she could cry 🥰 Thank you for helping us make some special family memories!!

  • We offer various bikes to suit your riding preferences, including hybrid frames, kids bikes and ladies step-through models. You can choose from various sizes, ensuring you find the perfect bike for your adventure.

  • Our rental rates vary depending on the type of bike and rental duration. Prices typically start at £18.00 for half a day (3 hours) or £20.00 for a full day (6 hours). Each rental includes a helmet, basic repair kit, and a bike lock. We also offer optional add-ons such as padded gel seats, child seats and bags for an additional cost.

  • You can pick up your rented bike at our main rental location located at 11 Parade, Exmouth, EX8 1RS. We also offer delivery services to certain popular holiday parks in the area. When returning the bike, you can drop it off at the exact location or arrange a drop-off at a designated spot, depending on your preference.

  • While walk-in rentals are available, we highly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during peak riding seasons. Reserving a bike ensures that you'll have the specific model and size you desire, and it expedites the rental process on the day of your ride.

  • We welcome riders of various skill levels and ages. However, we require riders under 18 to have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. For safety reasons, we recommend that riders have prior experience with cycling.
